Our Strategic Objectives

Objective I: Empower Collective Action to Solve Homelessness

Enhance coordination and connectivity to maximize the collective impact of organizations working towards solving homelessness. Serve as a catalyst for the field and the backbone organization for the CT CAN End Homelessness campaign to foster and facilitate collaboration among providers, communities, state agencies, and key partners.

Objective II: Strengthen Capacity through Training and Technical Assistance

Improve the efficacy of the homeless response system by providing high-quality, accessible, and evidence-based training and technical assistance. Develop tailored resources and tools that empower local efforts to address systemic barriers and implement effective strategies.

Objective III: Drive Multi-System Impact through Collaborative Policy Advocacy

Advance public policy that supports the homeless response system by engaging with policymakers, system actors, and community partners. Facilitate a coordinated and equitable approach to advocacy that drives investment and addresses systemic challenges within the homelessness sector.

Objective IV: Operationalize Equity and Justice in Access and Participation

Engage and elevate the voice of those most impacted by homelessness who have the greatest insight into possible solutions. Promote equity and justice within the homeless response system by identifying and addressing systemic barriers that hinder access and participation.

Objective V: Cultivate Organizational Resilience

Ensure the organization’s longevity and capacity to support the homeless response system in navigating evolving landscapes and emerging challenges. Enhance CCEH’s sustainability and adaptability through the development of robust internal structures and practices.
