Letter to the Governor – Sign-on

SIGN ON TO THE LETTER TO THE Governor
As we mark the 10-year anniversary of Connecticut’s Coordinated Access Networks (CANs), we have a unique opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made in addressing homelessness and housing instability across the state. Over the past decade, the CAN system has transformed the way we provide services—streamlining access to housing, improving collaboration, and ensuring that resources reach those who need them most.
To commemorate this milestone and to urge continued state investment in the CAN system, we invite your organization to sign on to a letter to Governor Lamont recognizing this achievement and reinforcing the importance of sustained funding and support.
The letter highlights:
The impact of the CAN system over the past decade in reducing homelessness and improving housing outcomes.
The critical need for ongoing state resources to maintain and strengthen CAN operations.
The importance of increased state funding in light of shifting federal policies and the growing demand for homeless services, ensuring that Connecticut can continue to provide stable, coordinated, and effective housing solutions for those in need.
We encourage every CAN member organization across Connecticut to join us in this effort. Your signature will demonstrate the strength of our coalition and reinforce the need for ongoing state support.
