About Us
Together, we can solve homelessness in Connecticut.
The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) leads the charge in preventing and ending homelessness across Connecticut. Through strategic partnerships with local communities, advocacy efforts, and extensive support to our network, we’re transforming the landscape for those experiencing homelessness.
Our Mission and Actions:
Advancing Through Leadership and Advocacy:
CCEH unites over 75 members, ranging from emergency shelter and transitional housing providers to community leaders and business partners, all dedicated to eradicating homelessness. Our efforts in leadership, community organizing, and advocacy pave the way for meaningful, sustainable change.
Research and Insightful Analysis:
As the state’s primary source for data on homelessness, CCEH manages the Homeless Management Information System and data strategy.
Strategic Communication and Advocacy:
We raise our voices in Hartford, across the state, and in Washington, D.C., to inform policymakers and the public about the realities of homelessness, promoting effective solutions and securing necessary resources.
Fostering Community Connections:
Through grassroots organizing and technical support, CCEH strengthens community plans to end homelessness, encouraging a unified approach to address this crisis effectively.
Empowering through Education:
CCEH equips service providers with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to combat homelessness efficiently. Our focus on best practices and leadership development ensures that resources are utilized optimally for maximum impact.
Providing Emergency Assistance:
We offer immediate support to individuals and families in crisis, facilitating swift transitions from homelessness to stable housing conditions.
