Coco Wheeler, MSW is a Program Officer at the True Colors Fund and a graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. With a focus on research and community organizing, their work centers on the development of safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. Previously, Coco worked in a direct service capacity as an advocate for young men incarcerated in juvenile detention and as a case planner for families involved with the foster care system.

Katelyn Owens is a program coordinator for Triangle Community Center – a nonprofit community center that serves the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County, offers programs and groups, organizes the largest Pride celebration in Connecticut, provides community education and technical assistance through the LGBTQ Training Institute, and houses Connecticut’s only LGBTQ-specific case management program.
