Understanding Cultural Diversity among Youth &Young Adults.

March 8, 2017

1:00 pm-4:00 pm
Respecting and understanding the diverse backgrounds of homeless and unstably housed youth and young adults improves care. Cultural competency is about developing an awareness and respect for diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds as well as values and worldviews to best care for the individual.
This training will provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on the cultural perspectives from their personal and organizational background and to strategize for navigating the dynamics of difference to improve the care of homeless and unstably housed youth and young adults.
Please contact Sarah Chess at schess@cceh.org for more information. Space is limited. If you need to cancel please give notice within 48 hours of the training.
