STRIVE Family Mediation Training
April 2 @ 9:00 am - April 3 @ 5:00 pm
STRIVE is a family-centered psycho-educational mediation model designed to reduce youth homelessness and increase family stability. Developed at UCLA in 2004, this five-session intervention targets newly homeless youth and their families and has been found to increase positive family interactions while providing family members with tools to address conflict more effectively. This intervention also has proven results in reducing youth risk-taking behaviors and improving participant’s general wellness. CCEH is proud to offer this two-day training led by UCLA-trained STRIVE trainers. This training is open to all who work with youth and/or their families – no pre-requisites required.
