This webinar will focus on the importance of keeping pets with their families and the unnecessary trauma separation can cause amidst an already stressful housing crisis. The CT Humane Society will be joining us for this webinar and will discuss the importance of compassion, what it takes to be a good pet owner, managing common issues with landlords, and resources that are available to pet owners. During this webinar we will also provide information on our new statewide program for flexible emergency assistance for households experiencing homelessness with pets. This fund is generously funded by the PetSmart Foundation, and will be accessible to cover veterinary costs, pet deposits, vaccinations, and other associated costs that prevent people from staying in or finding housing.
