The Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness, and the CT Dept. of Housing (DOH) have partnered to develop and implement a new feature to the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) that will allow information of domestic violence victims to be confidentially input into prioritized lists for housing services while meeting confidentiality stands.
In preparation for implementation, CCADV and CCEH will be hosting one in-person training and one webinar for domestic violence providers and members of the Coordinated Access Network (CAN). The webinar will focus on an overview of the new HMIS reporting system functionality, including exploring advocate roles, the DV-specific housing record, and the priority to be given to those who have a high lethality score.
