The Housing First principle is vital now more than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic spreading throughout the country, forcing people to socially distance, isolate, and quarantine themselves. With shelters expanding to hotels during the statewide decompression process, shelter providers now have added layers to navigate through in order to help people identify and obtain safe and permanent housing. This webinar will discuss goals and strategies of maintaining a housing focus during the crisis; provide housing tips, tools, and strategies; and give viewers an inside look into how one CT organization has made great progress in housing people experiencing homelessness during this difficult time.
