“What we’re trying to do is provide people with the absolutely safest space that we possibly can.” – Reverend Cathy Zall
Friends – we need your help. Our shelters are doing everything they can to follow the CDC guidelines of spacing beds 6 feet apart, but the reality is that with current shelter capacity we need to work more quickly than ever to move people out of shelters and into HOMES. If you have been looking for a way to help, please consider donating emergency funds to move families and individuals into apartments right away.
If you are having trouble imagining the challenges our shelters are facing, definitely take a moment during your time at home to read this article about why moving people into households and living spaces is so critical at this time.
Your gift will provide flexible emergency assistance for rent, security deposit, or other costs associated with moving clients out of shelter into HOME as quickly as possible.
Thank you for any help you can offer!
