Connecticut Homeless Services Program

The State of Connecticut, Department of Housing (DOH), is seeking proposals from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and municipalities to provide at least one program for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness along the Connecticut continuum of services. This continuum includes coordinated access services, shelter diversion services, shelter operations, rapid re-housing services, new permanent supportive housing services or youth transitional living programs. Services will be provided within a specified Coordinated Access Network (CAN). Connecticut Homeless Services Program is a statewide initiative designed to assist homeless program participants (individuals and families) as they quickly move out of homelessness and into permanent housing through the provision of housing supports and strategies with the ultimate goal of housing stability.
