The SPDAT, or Service-Prioritization-Decision-Assistance-Tool, is an evidence-informed approach to assessing the acuity of an individual’s or family’s homelessness. The SPDAT is a tool with a variety of uses, including identifying a client’s need for case management and for prioritization.
The SPDAT assesses clients based on multiple components to prioritize them for housing assistance interventions, sequence clients to receive those services, allocate the time and resources from staff, and assist with case planning and tackling of needs. The SPDAT should only be administered by those who have attended the full training held with Iain De Jong or a trained trainer.
The cost of this training is $20 for members and $35 for non-members. To receive a reimbursement for your cancellation, please provide 48 hour notice.
